Terms of Hire:

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required on booking to hold your date. Your booking is only confirmed on receipt of this.

Outstanding balance due 21 days prior to your event.

Delivery and pick up to venues within a 20 mile radius of Hull (HU7 3EA) are included in the cost of hire, outside of this incurs a charge for petrol and additional travelling time. Prices on application.
A £30 breakage deposit is required, payable on balance, which is refunded within 1 week of the event subject to there being no damage or loss to “So Sweet” property.  Any loss or damage incurred, over and above the breakage deposit already paid will be charged accordingly.

 

Cancellations:

If you cancel more than 21 days before your event any amounts paid will be refunded minus the £50 deposit.

Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to the event will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50%.  This does not include the non-refundable deposit

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your event any payment received will be fully refunded.

In the event of any cancellation at any time the breakage deposit paid will be fully refunded.

 

Payments:
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer. If you have a valid email we can also accept payments via Paypal.

Nut Allergies & Safety Warnings:
Please note that we will not provide sweets with nuts but some of the sweets may have traces of nuts or may have been produced alongside other products containing nuts. We cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies.

Children:
Customers should also ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid choking risk and prevent damage to the cart and equipment. We cannot be held responsible for safety issues, which occur from the use of equipment, consumables or the consumption of confectionery at your function..

Care of the Cart & Equipment:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that, under no circumstances is the cart moved during your function to prevent damage and loss of your breakage deposit. If using your own decorations please refrain from using pins, sticky tapes, glues etc. We tie our decorations on with string and use the hooks that are already attached to the Cart. Any damage incurred through using unsuitable materials will result in loss of breakage deposit and may incur further charges.

Photographs:

The customer agrees to allow photographs taken by the staff of So Sweet to be used for promotional purposes.
